Adam graduates from Massey University in Palmerston North with Majors in Computer Science and E-Commerce.
Adam begins working remotely with his first US-based corporate customer.
Adam and his team develop the first Japanese used cars auction portal for Kiwi customers. They linked the portal to all major Japanese Auctions, adding over 120,000 auction vehicles to the website every week. New Zealanders could bid on these cars and import them directly.
In 2010, Adam passed Google AdWords Certifications, so he could help his clients better reach customers online and advertise on Google.
2011 marks the beginning of our digital agency, Kiwi Website Design. Taking a one-on-one approach, we dedicate all our time and energy to our valuable clients. This is a tradition that we carried through to the present days.
Kiwi Website Design achieved its first important milestone with the development of its 50th website.
Kiwi Website Design officially recognised as a Certified Google Partner.
We developed the first-ever cloud-based CRM solution called Ezymigrate specifically for New Zealand Licensed Immigration Advisors.
Kiwi Website Design reached another major milestone with the development of its 1,000th website.
In 2017, we celebrated another significant milestone, surpassing $1 million spent on Google AdWords campaigns for our clients.
We spread our wings and successfully register an Australian branch of the business under the name Outsource NZ Ltd.
At the beginning of 2021, we rebranded ourselves to KWD and expanded out as a full-service digital agency in Auckland. Today, KWD is a strong team of creative web designers and developers, skilled SEO experts, talented software and app developers, business strategists and marketing professionals. With 50+ professionals from various backgrounds, we are able to deliver projects of all sizes.
When I completed my study in Computer Science and E-Commerce, I knew I wanted to dedicate all of my career to the digital marketplace. Starting small with website design and development, I’ve always been the first-point-of-contact for our clients.
Even today, with over 50+ employees at KWD, I love to take the time to talk with our clients about their brands and customers and help them maximise their investment in digitalisation. It is this hands-on approach that has guided the success of our clients’ business and mine.
Working with local New Zealand businesses, I have honed the innate ability to understand what our clients need. I expertise in creative, website development, software and mobile app development and am actively involved in all areas of the business.
It’s been 9 years since I found Adam on some freelance site. Adam shared a story that he wants to create an agency for design and development; I was a young energetic designer but also possessed the soul of an artist, so Adam and I started this journey together. We have been loyal to our work, working hard and smart, day and night. Now KWD is an agency that provides not only web solutions but everything IT related.
Designing, developing and delivering interactive, responsive websites that drive traffic and conversions is my ultimate goal.
For me, KWD is everything now, and my major role is to build the team which built me. Over the years, I have also learnt management skills. I’ve seen a lot of other companies where you can work real hard and never go anywhere with it and KWD is the exact opposite of that, you get what you put in. I am still loving to be a part of Adam’s team and KWD as I joined him 9 years ago, Wow that’s a long time 🙂

After leaving school at sixteen I went to University in my thirties and managed to get through an MBA which was tough at the time, but has served me well since then.
I seem to have the patience to be a good listener. You’d be surprised about how often people come up with their own answers when they just have someone around who is prepared to listen to them.
The thing I love most about the work we do is getting together a blend of smart people who make magic happen every day.
I also like making spreadsheets and then spending time looking at them, which might seem very strange to a lot of people.
My goal is to create a team that doesn’t need me!

My career path has been just as 50/50 to date. With a mix of trades experience and corporate culture – I pride myself on having the ability to get along with anyone who crosses my path.
I have simply one goal in life, to begin a successful business of my own. KWD has provided a platform for me to learn the necessary tools and to pass on the knowledge that has been handed on to me.
I became an Account Manager at KWD after receiving the most helpful advice I needed to hear: “Specialising in one field is never enough, you need to branch out and go beyond your limits.” So, after receiving my Computer Science degree from the University of Auckland, I decided to broaden my horizons and became a Marketing Manager, Software/Web Developer, UI Designer and so much more!
I like the culture, atmosphere and work ethic the KWD brings daily, which helps put a smile on both mine and the client’s faces everyday.
My core skills are communication, organisation and working with technical specs and developers.
My game plan is to become an integral part of the Game Development Industry. KWD helps me learn and bring fresh insight on what needs to be done and how we as a society can make it a reality.
If you asked me what the most important recipe to a company’s success is?
I would have to say “IT’S THE PEOPLE!” and I wholeheartedly believe KWD’s people are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. The passion to deliver the best products, absolute willingness to give our clients the best service, and a collection of our industries most talented minds, are some of the reasons why I am excited to be part of the journey.
My passion is synonymous with witnessing people grow, achieving levels of success they believed were unattainable, luckily enough my role here at KWD enables me to fulfil that passion!

I’m a man of many hats. I went into work straight after school and have worked as everything from a manager at Burgerfuel to an arborist. My introduction to the tech industry came during my time at Spark (then Telecom), and it’s been the start of a fantastic journey.
I entered the world of web development in 2018 and am now the production manager here at KWD. It’s easily my favourite job yet. It’s given me the opportunity to make my passion for tech the centre of everything I get to do.
My day-to-day includes encouraging communications between team members and clients, fleshing out project requirements, making sure those requirements are executed correctly. I’m responsible for managing the production team and making sure that all our sites get done on time and to the standards our clients know and love us for. I love watching a project come together, and nothing makes me happier than a satisfied client.

I recently graduated from the University of Auckland majoring in Data Science (Computer Science and Statistics), a rapidly growing field that focuses on obtaining insight from “big data”. As we are currently living in an information era where consumer behaviour is evolving at a rapid phase, many businesses struggle to grapple with this change or refuse to adapt which results in business failure.
Right now, I work as an Account Manager at KWD where I help people reinvent and propel their businesses in the digital age. I achieve satisfaction in helping people become more agile and competitive.
I am one of the Project Managers at KWD, and I take care of Website and App projects primarily. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I’m always willing to go the extra mile for my clients, co-workers and friends.
Since joining KWD in May 2020 as a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, I have dedicated myself to expanding our huge client portfolio while also taking the standard of our work to the next level. I am always researching and looking into the latest technologies – so our clients can benefit.
I’ve always been curious about what happens during the design and development stage of websites and applications. So in early 2021, I became one of the project managers to help oversee client projects, look after our clients and work closely with the entire team at KWD to ensure everything is running smoothly and everyone is happy.
Leveraging my previous experience in managing complicated enterprise level projects, including eCommerce, SaaS and marketing automation for well-known companies like Sharp, Rheem, and Hot Spring Spas, I can handle any size projects, large or small.

With over 4 years of marketing/sales experience, I continue to stay educated by reading, listening to podcasts and watching videos. Digital marketing is constantly developing so it’s important to stay on top of trends and customer behaviours that I can then educate my clients on.

My job as the Digital Marketing Manager at KWD is to create memorable and emotional connections with your customers through storytelling. I can help add value to your digital marketing efforts by delivering meaningful brand messages to the right people when they are ready to make a purchase.
I think what I love most about working at KWD is the fantastic range of people I get to work with. It’s not just that I’m sharing my knowledge with my clients and reaching their targets, but I’m also immersing myself in my clients’ industries and learning something new every day.
